Frostforged is my personal attempt at a full item revision mod, intended to increase the diversity of options in terms of equipment for Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition. Weaker named items, particularly those with no particular interesting effects, are enhanced and given unique traits, while several of the most egregiously powerful items (looking at you, Long Sword of Action) are toned down to make way for the competition.

While this mod focuses mostly on modifying existing items, there are a few new items added to the game as well, namely to fill in item niches which were not originally present.

This mod is still an ongoing project, and as such not every item is changed, but over time I hope to cover all the items in the game and hopefully give looting and treasure hunting a whole new level of enjoyment.
